We encourage both midwives and members of the public to please become members of MAF or make a donation.  If you prefer to show support in a non-financial way, we would love for you to fill out our "I Support Florida Midwifery" Form here. 

MAF is always looking for volunteers to help with small projects, conferences, or on-going committees. 

Consider helping :

• The Legislative Committee- Who works with our lobbyists to advocates for licensed midwifery in Florida. 
• The Improving Community to Hospital Transfers Sub-Committee- Working to improve home to hospital transfers for families and providers. 
• Communications Team- Working to put out newsletters, facilitate social media platforms, and generate information for the website
• Tech Team- Maintain the website, database, and other infrastructure
• Education and Conferences Team- Working to provide information to students on information about becoming a midwife, schools, and clinical opportunities, planning the bi-annual conference, and communicating/planning CEU opportunities.
